    Hi,

    every time I enable the javascript option and horizontal scrolling it puts the thead and th cells in an extra table? Can I avoid this?

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    This is caused by showing the tables in expandable tabs. These make it impossible for the JavaScript code to calculate column widths.

    One idea: Can you maybe turn off the “Use DataTables” checkbox to turn off the JavaScript features, and instead use the scroll mode that the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/ offers. This works without JavaScript.
