I have searched your forums and FAQ for a possible solution, but nothing seems to be my problem, or threads are marked “Resolved” with no answer from original posters.

I am having an issue similar to ‘hellpunch’ (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-select-imagick-even-when-php-module-installed/) where my plugin settings show that my PHP modules are not installed or dont support WebP, however I have contacted my server administrators (hosting provider) and spoke to them about possible resolutions for about an hour! Nothing they did would fix the issue.

My server seems to be running the modules required (as checked by my hosting provider and myself), however the plugin doesnt seem to detect the modules properly?

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi @hostingmate,

    Thank you for your message.

Could you send me a screenshot of your configuration? Link to it can be found on the Settings Page of plugin in the section We are waiting for your message.

You can also just use the path:
    /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=webpc_admin_page&action=server

    Hi Mateusz,

These following images show the PHP result from the server.
    GD
    IMAGICK

The following image shows the result from the plugin settings page.
    PLUGIN SETTINGS

I am with a hosting company called SiteGround and they have been very helpful, however were unable to find a solution and believe it may be that the plugin does not recognize the setting?

By reading the plugin FAQ you will find the question “What are requirements of plugin?”. Tell me please, did you read it? I know the problem with SiteGround hosting. You are not the first person to report this problem.

An example of the correct server configuration can be found here. Note the items marked in red. For your configuration, you have the GD and Imagick library installed, but they do not support WebP.

The GD library is missing the WebP Support option with the value enabled. The Imagick library is missing the WEBP format in supported formats.

Did I explain it to you exactly? Tell me please what you have been able to find with hosting support.
