• Hi,

I am trying to customize my invoice template by copying the files to my child theme but I just can’t. I have tried to follow your tutorial page (https://docs.wpovernight.com/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips/creating-a-custom-pdf-template/).

I went to Plugins, copied the entire folder woocommerce-pdf-invoice and pasted it in the child-theme folder, edited some template files but nothing happened.

After that, I tried to follow the instructions below you gave on a similar topic:

Inside your child theme you need too create this directory: /woocommerce/pdf/MyTemplateName/ and copy the template files from the plugin core to it.

Then you just need to go under PDF Invoices > General > Choose a template and switch the template to MyTemplateName.

What I did but But still no change. No template swith has appeared. I’m not really sure I understand. should I copy the entire plugin folder or just the one called templates? Should I add a new template file in that folder in the child theme?

I’m totally new to this. Hope this is clear enough.
    regards,
    Bertrand

Hello Betrand, have you renamed the Simple folder to something else when you copied it to your child theme? For example in the tutorial it shows this:

Where the custom template is named “Customized Simple”. This template will then show up with that name in the dropdown on the General settings page.
