Is it possible to manually activate a user who hasn’t received the double opt in email ?

What do you see under “pending users” in WP-ADMiN?

Sorry I can’t find any entry named “pending users” in my admin menu
    Where should this be?

That’s how it looks in my backend:

The easiest way to do that is as follows:

    1. Install & Activate an email logging plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-log/
    2. Create the new user under Users > Add New (User should be pending confirmation)
    3. Navigate to the email log kept by the plugin installed in step 1; Open the content of that email
    4. Copy/Paste the activation/confirmation link contained in the content into your browser’s address bar.

Note: This will only work for future users; Users created up until the installation of the Email Log plugin would need to manually verify their accounts.

    Ok, thanks, it works. 👍

maybe there is a possibility to include this function in a future version 😉
