Carriage Return Not Working On wpDiscuz Comments

We just installed the plugin and everything looks great.

However, when adding new comments, I notice simply hitting the enter key (carriage return) does not result in a new <p> tag in the html. Instead it adds a <br> tag which makes the entire comment appear as one block of text.

If the user hits enter twice for a new line, then the proper <p> tag is produced and a new paragraph is formed.

Is this a bug?

Most people are going to get frustrated with large text block comments and will not understand the need to double-tap the return key. Can we have a fix or let me know what code I need to address this?

Just as we hit enter in this forum software and get a nice clean break between paragraphs, we should be able to accomplish the same with wpDiscuz.
