• My latest WP disaster -and they’re coming one right after another – is that when I try to preview the post it says “No posts in the database”. This all happened after I had the blog moved to another server.

The post is saved in the dashboard – so its saved somewhere. Any ideas?

  • I had the blog moved to another server.

Did you backup from old server and install in new server … database and server files and folders, and possibly copy of wp-config.php (revised with info of new database) and .htaccess or XML export/import?

Posts are saved in your database and XML. Images or other media attachments are saved in your server wp-content/uploads folder.

My host did it. I have a backup as well. I’ll check wp-config.php – (and copy htaccess and xml/export/import to the new site?)

The blog is being published fine. When I bring it up to preview it has the old address- and there’s nothing there. I need to change that address – where I change it though I don’t know 🙂
