Minify CSS Files – child theme CSS not updating

    For some reason, changes made to our child theme’s style.css are not being reflected in the minified CSS.

    Disabling “Minify CSS Files” allows the proper CSS to display, and re-enabling again reverts to an older version.

    1) Is there a simple way to flush the cache for this file? Ideally without clearing the entire site’s cache.
    2) What might be causing this? It is a very new problem. Usually CSS updates are instantaneous with no problem.

    Updates are typically made using the Theme Editor /wp-admin/theme-editor.php
