Germanized Inaktiv nach WooCommerce Update

    Hallo liebes Germanized Team,

    Danke für Euer Plugin. Jetzt hab ich leider ein Problem, weshalb ich mich an Euch wende:
    nach dem Update auf Woocommerce 4.2.2 deaktiviert sich Germanized.

    “WooCommerce feht oder ist veraltet”
    “Germanized ist inaktiv. Diese Version von Germanized benötigt WooCommerce 3.4 oder neuer. Bitte update WooCommerce auf Version 3.4 oder neuer » ”

    Seid ihr da schon dran, oder gibt´s das Problem bisher nur bei mir?

    Auch ein Wiederherstellen von WooCommerce 4.2.0 konnte das Problem nicht lösen. Die Fehlermeldung von Germanized bleibt bestehen…

    Hi,

    welche Version von Germanized hast du denn installiert? Wichtig wäre ebenfalls, dass du die Woo-Updates korrekt durchführst, d.h. auch das Datenbank-Update ausführst (Germanized prüft zur Bestimmung der Kompatibilität die Woo-Datenbank-Version).

    Germanized ist die aktuelle 3.1.9 Version

    Die Datenbank sollte auch aktuell sein (gab jedenfalls keinen entsprechenden Hinweis im Backend, der sonst nach Updates häufig kommt)

    Hi,

    schau mal bitte unter WooCommerce > Status > Germanized. Dort sollte dir auch die Datenbank-Version präsentiert werden.

    hatte danach schon gesucht, da sollte eigentlich ein eigener Tab für Germanized sein, oder?

    Vermutlich wird er bei mir nicht angezeigt, da Germanized sich ja selbst deaktiviert hat. Unter Plugins ist es allerdings noch aktiv (kann es deaktivieren).

    wir sind aktuell von dem gleichen Problem betroffen, haben bislang leider noch keine Lösung gefunden. Werden diesbezüglich auch gleich einen Support Case aufmachen.

    hatte danach schon gesucht, da sollte eigentlich ein eigener Tab für Germanized sein, oder?

    Jap, das war ein Denkfehler von mir. Da Germanized nicht geladen werden kann, kann auch der Tab nicht geladen werden. Bestenfalls schaust du mal in deine DB in der wp_options Tabelle. Unter option_name = woocommerce_gzd_db_version solltest du die aktuelle Datenbank-Version finden.

    Manche Plugins/Themes verstecken u.U. Meldungen anderer Plugins, sodass dir der Hinweis zum Update der Datenbank evtl. nicht präsentiert wird. Notfalls auch Germanized mal deaktivieren und reaktivieren – dann sollte der Hinweis neu platziert werden.

    Hallo mal wieder,

    leider auch damit kein Erfolg.

    In der DB existiert kein Eintrag

    woocommerce_gzd_db_version

    , habe sämtliche Tabellen durchsucht.

    Das mit dem Deaktivieren habe ich auch schon versucht. Danach kommt eben lediglich der Hinweis, dass WooCommerce fehlt/veraltet ist.

    Wenn man das Plugin löscht und neu installiert, müssen alle Einstellungen erneut vorgenommen werden, oder?

    Hi,

    ich habe mir deine Logs noch einmal angeschaut. Das Problem ist, dass deine WooCommerce-Datenbank-Version fehlt (s.h. System-Status unter “WC Database Version:”). Dort fehlt der Eintrag. Entweder der Eintrag wurde gelöscht oder aber ein Update konnte nicht richtig installiert werden. Du solltest ggfs. mal WooCommerce deaktivieren und reaktivieren und sicherstellen, dass das Update richtig installiert wurde (das Datenbank-Update).

    kurze Info: bei uns hat Germanized de-/re-aktivieren gereicht dass wieder alles funktioniert hat … mhm …

    Schön wärs, hab ich natürlich alles schon probiert.

    Du solltest ggfs. mal WooCommerce deaktivieren und reaktivieren und sicherstellen, dass das Update richtig installiert wurde (das Datenbank-Update).

    Die deaktivieren/reaktivieren Geschichte hab ich natürlich auch schon ausprobiert. Wie gesagt, hab ich ja sogar ein Downgrade auf WC 4.2.0 probiert. Wie kann man denn feststellen, ob die Datenbank richtig geupdated wurde?

    Das Problem ist, dass deine WooCommerce-Datenbank-Version fehlt (s.h. System-Status unter “WC Database Version:”). Dort fehlt der Eintrag.

    Letztendlich ist das auf jeden Fall der Grund, danke für den Hinweis. Ich habe das jetzt in phpmyadmin mit
    insert into wp_options (option_name, option_value, autoload) Values ('woocommerce_db_version', '4.2.2', 'yes');
    vorübergehend gelöst. Ist aber wohl nicht der schönste Weg, da ich ja nicht weiß welche Datenbankversion drauf ist und ob diese ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. Über weitere Hinweise wäre ich dankbar.

    Hi,

    warum deine DB-Version von WooCommerce fehlte, kann ich dir leider nicht sagen. Vielleicht wurde sie zeitweise gelöscht und konnte nicht mehr eingefügt werden. Du solltest das auf jeden Fall nach Woo Updates im Auge behalten.

    Hallo abraxas,
    habe das gleiche Problem.
    Könntest du mir bitte näher beschreiben wie das mit

    insert into wp_options (option_name, option_value, autoload) Values (‘woocommerce_db_version’, ‘4.2.2’, ‘yes’);

    funktioniert.

    WP phpMyAdmin habe ich installiert, traue mich nicht so richtig da etwas zu verändern.

    Es wäre super hilfreich für mich.

    Hallo,

    Ich bin auch Laie, also bitte Vorsicht bei der Datenbank, dass du nix kaputt machst – alles ohne Gewähr.

    Das Problem kommt wieder, wenn es ein WC Datenbank Update gibt.

    Dann einfach die aktuelle Versionsnummer eintragen.

    – In phpmyadmin auf die Tabelle wp_options klicken

    – Konsole öffnen (unten links)

    – Code wie oben eintragen, nur mit deiner aktuellen Versionsnummer

    – Strg Enter
