Issues after wordpress update, plugin not there anymore

I updated wordpress to the latest version 5.4.2 and now my gallery plugin is not under plugin anymore. I tried to reinstall but it did not work and I got the message that the target folder already exists.
Also all my galleries seem to be gone, at least they are not shown anymore.

Any ideas what happened?
