I have a search engine on my website that indexes my site once a week and returns error messages and flags duplicate links. They are returning two error messages that references a file found at stats.wp.com. The error message is related to my WordPress blog. Is there a way I can clean this up?

Had this error: Not fetching off-site SCRIPT SRC https://stats.wp.com/e-202025.js of URL http://www.thaifoodandtravel.com/blog/

That’s intentional, and not something that needs to be “cleaned up.” 🙂

That’s Jetpack’s stats script and they don’t want (or need) search engines to index their stats script.

Remember that these site checks only report raw encounters, like “Oops, I can’t read that.” They don’t understand context like “Oh yeah, there’s no reason for me to read that.”

    Thanks, James. I appreciate it.
