Default Colors Automatically Reset After Saving Theme Options

I got the7 theme and in Elementor settings I unchecked the “Checking this box will disable Elementor’s Default Colours, and make Elementor inherit the colours from your theme.” checkbox.

Now when I change the default colors in Elementor, they are applied correctly. However when I open the theme settings on the admin side, and I just click the “save” button, the Elementor’s default colours automatically are reset the their original default colors and I need to change them back to what I want.

I deactivated all the other plugins, and kept getting same result.
Did anyone else have something similar?
