Disabling wp-admin

    Hi,
    Is there any way to hide wp-admin url visibility?
    I am using WP Hide & Security Enhancers plugin to hide wp-admin. But after doing that, Wordfence became inaccessible!

    Hi @impurnendu,

    As per Wordfence’s recommendations, you really shouldn’t try to hide your login page / admin page URLs.

    What ends up happening is that you break something that depends on the wp-admin/ url, and the security that you get is negligible.

    But I don’t want to allow visitors to visit wp-admin url and redirected to wp-login.php

    In “WP Cerber Security” plugin there is an option to block wp-admin direct access without logged in as Administrator. Otherwise wp-admin url shows 404 error!

    Hey @impurnendu,

    We don’t currently support something like this. And typically, as Dave mentioned, it really doesn’t help much security-wise, though you may have your own reasons. Either way, I can definitely file a feature request.
