Plugin Conflicts

    I’m having some sudden bizarre plugin conflicts on two of my sites. One involves WordFence conflicting with both Jetpack and bbPress. This issue started right about the time WordPress upgraded to 5.4.2

    Has anyone else been having similar problems?

    The only issue with Jetpack would be if you disabled XML-RPC or have it set to Require 2FA for XML-RPC call authentication. I don’t know of any specific issues being reported with BBPress but setting the firewall into learning mode, performing the action that was blocked (if it is a user action being blocked make sure and perform the action from a browser that is not logged in), and then enabling the firewall again. That would whitelist it going forward. It’s possible BBPress uses XML-RPC too but as I am unfamiliar with it, I wanted you to get the other method too.
