Hello,
It works with WordPress 5.4.2, but does not send email when preloading and refresh this preload.
Best regards
It’s been 5 months since the plugin was updated. There are currently about 110 separate topics/threads (3.5 pages) that have not been answered in the last few months. I’m sure many of the reported problems are not caused by WP Super Cache, but some of the issues should be looked at by the plugin contributors.
I hope @automattic and @donncha haven’t abandoned the plugin. If they have, users should be informed so that we don’t wait in vain for help or an update that will never come.
I love WP Super Cache, and I hope the developers will keep it alive. I have not updated WP or PHP to the last versions because I worry that some of the issues others are reporting will happen to my site as well (I want to avoid downgrading and restoring my site). I’m currently on WP 5.3.2 and PHP 7.3. Obviously, I need to update to the newest version of both WP and PHP in the not too distant future, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that WP Super Cache will be fully tested and updated soon.
I’ve updated WordPress to 5.4.2 and I am using PHP 7.4 and the plugin still works, however, I would really appreciate if @automattic or @donncha could test it properly on their end!

I’m using WordPress 5.4.2 and PHP 7.4 on my server and the plugin works fine. I can’t test every configuration unfortunately.
@donncha Thanks for replying to my tweet earlier so I presume that the plugin is still supported?
Yes, it is. Releases might not happen that often but I still use it and I’m working on it.
@donncha ok that’s great! So many threads from people saying that you stopped supporting the plugin aren’t true then?
@donncha okay that is great news
Thanks for the good news!
@donncha for President, @automattic for the People! 🙂
@yallaman yes I know, right
