Upload Image button slow to load [China specific]

    The Upload Image button on Listing Form page takes for ever to load. The button appears but is unresponsive to clicks and the page can’t finish loading.

    When I turn the VPN on, the page finishes loading immediately and the button works fine. It seems something in the codes is blocked by China.

    Any suggestions what is causing this and possible solutions?

    BTW, I’ve already unchecked “Allow users to add map for their listings” because google services are blocked in china, but the issue persists.

    The problem tests to happen on 2 mobile phones at different locations. Desktops computers using cable connection detect no problem with the page.

    The AWPCP plugin also has an imgae upload field. I never had any problem with that plugin. Maybe this is due to the different approaches the two plugins take regarding that field.
