I would have taken a look for you but you didn’t provide a link.
Widgets don’t normally redirect… They usually show content or something on the page they are placed in.
Most widgets are placed in sidebars but some themes have widget areas in the footers, headers and even the content areas…
If they are redirecting then they may have a problem…
Try using a generic theme to play around with, edit, move, and/or test the widgets you wish to work with. Get them the way you want them then switch back to your preferred theme and see if they still work.
Let us know if you need further help or if they don’t work right in your preferred theme then ask the theme provider for help.
If they don’t work properly in any theme then it’s possible your WordPress install is broken and needs to be reinstalled.
Thanks I meant my wp widgets on the sidebar like appearances plugin customize themes any of these been clicked redirects to my built site homepage. Its a custom theme and I have been using this same pattern over years now on difference site this first time am experiencing this. The same site works perfectly on another subdomain
