Issue with Elementor

    Hi guys,

    I am having some issues with the free Elementor but their support team is not so helpful, so I am hoping to get some help from you guys. I am a newby so after I installed the free Elementor, at some point I started to create the header and the footer of the homepage. I had been editing them at least for a week, when all of a sudden both the header and the footer became inaccessible. Then I learnt that in order to create and edit them, I should have Elementor Pro. I have no idea why I had access to it before and why not now. What is the best way to sort this out? Is it ok to create a new header and footer with another plugin on the current header and footer? Do they have to be deleted first somehow? Am I confused with anything? By the way the theme is the OceanWP and WordPress has been installed locally only. Thanks very much

    Header and Footer templates shouldn’t be supported with the free version. If you want to remain in free version, you can just install a header + footer plugin or use the theme’s settings for the header and footer.

    This plugin might be a good start to try out. I haven’t used it but it looks to allow you to create headers and footers with elementor templates without the pro version.
