Activate sidebar?

    How do I make the sidebar active or create a sidebar for Chaplin? The only widget areas I can see are footers and I don’t know enough to add one myself.

    Hi @deklipz,

    Chaplin doesn’t have sidebar support, and adding a sidebar in a child theme would require big updates to both PHP, markup and CSS, so it would be a big operation.

    I have given some thought to how sidebar support could be added to Chaplin, and it’s something I might take a look at at some point, but I can’t promise that it will happen (or if it does, when). If including a sidebar with widgets is a must, I would recommend you to go with a different theme for now.
