Hi @stefanblumer,
I’m really sorry to hear about the upgrade issue you’re having… but excellent debug info!
Looking at your screenshots, it appears that yes it is upgrading but then it is somehow reverting back…
I see that you’re running WP Super Cache. I’m wondering if somehow the version data is getting cached and causing problems. Can you temporarily disable WP Super Cache and test the upgrade again?
Thanks!

Brad,
Thanks for the quick reply. I disabled WP Super Cache and Wordfence Security, as well stopped the Total Upkeep backup before a plugin update. Still the same issue. Is it ok if I would uninstall BoldGrid Inspirations without a risk of losing my site once I reinstall it? I do have a recent backup I could restore to if need be.
Thanks, Stefan

Yes, this should be ok. We have a quick video that talks about this exactly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nxrmdoelby4

Thanks for troubleshooting! We have seen this issue maybe twice before, but it’s been so rare that we haven’t had a good way to really replicate and troubleshoot. If you download the 2.4.0 version here, does that install? http://repo.boldgrid.com/boldgrid-inspirations.zip
Brad,
Thanks for the information and link. I deactivated and then deleted BoldGrid Inspirations 2.3.1. I then downloaded Inspirations 2.4.1 from the BoldGrid site and reinstalled the plugin with no issue. I was able to reactivate Inspirations and it’s running fine now.
Thanks for the support!
Stefan
