I set up a user with an Editor role to allow them to change the banner text. When they log in, they are able to get to the Simple Banner admin page and change the text. When they save the configuration, the message changes, however, the act of saving clears the “Editor” role checkbox and they are not able to save the text again until I log in as Admin and check the Editor role again.

It appears that some of the configuration data (that non-admin users don’t normally see) gets unintentionally cleared when the non-admin saves the configuration.

Wordpress 5.4.1 (also did this with 5.4.0)
    Simple Banner 2.4.4
