Hi @piedpulse
With new password change policy. Passwords are directly embedded in Join Links. To avoid please check the “Disable Embed password in Link ?” from Zoom Meetings > Settings page and re-update your meeting.
Thanks
Hi, thanks for your reply.
My problem is that the system never ask me for the password for joing meetings
As you can see: https://www.omlab.it/wikiparkytv/zoom-meetings/test-pass/
the option “disable embed pwd in link” is inactive.
The meeting was refreshed
i need a password for users who can only join the meetings
thank you again
Hello,
first of all many thanks for your plugin, I really appreciate.
I’ve got the same problem: no password required to join meetings, even if the option “disable embed pwd in link” in inactive and i’ve already set a password for my meeting.
It would be very useful to set a password for meetings on a public site.
@socchipinti @piedpulse
I am suggesting to enable “Disable Embed password in Link ?” option from your Zoom Meeting > settings page. After the enable – If the meeting still does not ask for the password try updating the meeting page and see.
It should work.
Fantastic!
Now it works!
Is there a way to invite users sending that meeting password?
Thank you very much
Hi,
Still not working for me.
I’ve enabled the “Disable Embed password in Link ?” option, and created a brand new meeting but it’s still not asking any password to join.
Once a user clicks the link via browser it’s pending for me as host to admit, but no password is requested.
I’ve checked my zoom account option and i’ve disabled password in link also from there, but it’ not working.
Any Idea?
Thanks a lot
Sorry,
I’ve just updated and now it works fine!!
Many thanks…
What piedpulse asks it’s really interesting but if it’s not possible, could you just put the meeting password in a shortcode, so everyone can put it anywhere?
Thanks a lot
Hi Guys,
At the moment you’ll have to send out manual emails or make someone code to do this.
Thanks
