I have a WooCommerce website. I want to keep it running and also test different themes, landing page, etc. on a subdomain. The subdomain should use the same WooCommerce database as the main domain. That is, it should show the same products, orders, etc. If the subdomain is removed, the WooCommerce data is still stored in the main domain database.

    Can this be done? How?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi there,

It sounds like you’re essentially looking for a staging site where design/layout iterations can be created/tested. If that’s indeed the case, you could look into using a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/
