    Hello,

    I enabled recaptcha on my forms and my website performance went down considerably. Is there a way to have recaptcha and good site performance?

    Do you have any future plans to integrate Akismet? This works perfectly with other forms to stop spam without compromising performance.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Form assets including reCAPTCHA are only loaded on pages where a form has been added. In most cases this should not have a significant impact on site performance.

    If you’re seeing performance issue with your site, you could consider reaching out to your hosting provider to explore options to improve performance, such as increasing the memory of your site.

    We don’t have plans to integrate with Akismet. If you’d prefer not to use reCAPTCHA, you could consider other third-party plugins such as:

    – WordPress Zero Spam: This plugin is simple to set up, and works right out of the box.

    – Spam protection, AntiSpam, FireWall by CleanTalk. This option offers more settings for customization, though it’s is a premium plugin which requires subscription.

    Just to note that we’ll not be able to provide support for third-party plugins.
