• Hello,

I’m using wordpress on my computer with Mamp (I have a mac with mojave 10.14.6).

Everything is working, in local, but, I need now to have an access to the code by the FTP.

    I’m a beginner, so I tryed to do this : http://blog-en.mamp.info/2009/08/how-to-access-ftp-with-mamp.html

The problem is : my mac (Mojave) doens’t work like in this topic. I don’t really understand yet the concept of Filezila, so I can’t solved it by my own.

    Thank you for you help

  • You don’t need FTP to access files on your local machine using MAMP. All files are already stored on your machine. You should be able to use the Finder app to access files just like any other file.

By default, MAMP will install files inside /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/ directory. So that’s a good place to start.

Thanks, that’s a good place to start. Now, I’m gonna try to open the files of my site with Sublime Text and get my hands dirty. 🙂
