[Plugin: Future Posts Calendar Plugin] Is this plugin alive?

The idea is really good, and I would like to use the plugin. I would however, like to rearrange the placing of it in the Post Edit view. I can rearrange other portlets on the Post Edit, but this one does not have a frame. Would I need to change some code, or is there any other workaround.

The last update on the plugin was some time ago, so I am wondering if the development is still alive. Or, does anyone have any suggestions of a similar plugin showing the future posts scheduled for publishing?
