• Anyone know how to install a MixPod playlist to your WordPress blog? I had it installed, made a change, and tried to repost the code in a text widget and now it won’t work.

Any ideas? Grabbing the code from MixPod doesn’t work and it doesn’t seem to recognize my username/password under the WordPress post option.

    Thanks.

  • hi there. Im having the same problem. i posted a question too but it mysteriously disappeared. I initially had a blog on wordpress.COM and I followed the instructions to install it there and it worked fine. If you google mixpod and wordpress, all instructions you find is for the .com website.

I don’t know why but mixpod won’t recognize the username/password when you log with the .org account. What I did was to copy the html code i had from the wordpress.com post and paste on a widget for the wordpress.org site and It did not work. Im not sure if that’s because there’s something missing i need to install. I figured the code would work the same as long as flash/ swf is supported? I also installed a few plugins for flash/mp3 but nothing worked.

so as you can’t see i don’t have an answer, and I am no expert,
but we can try to figure it out?
here’s an attempt: try pasting my playlist code on your site –

    [gigya width=”165″ height=”382″ src=”http://assets.myflashfetish.com/swf/mp3/mff-nano.swf?myid=34895760&path=2009/11/13″ quality=”high” flashvars=”mycolor=bf0000&mycolor2=ffffff&mycolor3=707070&autoplay=false&rand=0&f=4&vol=100&pat=0&grad=false” salign=”TL” wmode=”transparent” ]

let me know if it shows up. If it does, that means there’s something on my side going wrong. Then i think you can just change the user # on the code from mine to yours (mine is 34895760) and your chosen skin (mine is: http://assets.myflashfetish.com/swf/mp3/mff-nano.swf) to have your own playlist displayed.

If it doesn’t work we’ll have to figure out what plugin or whatever code we need to add to support it. there must be a way

    Let me know what happens
    thanks!

you mentioned you had it installed initially? How did you do it?
