Re-Subscribing to a list

I was testing out my subscription form by using my own email addresses. I deleted the email addresses from the subscription list afterwards. Now I am trying to use those email addresses to test it out again but it keeps telling me that those email addresses are already subscribed. But they aren’t…..I deleted them and they aren’t on my subscribers list.
What have I done? 🙄
