    Hi. I’m having trouble uploading a good resolution of an illustration I made. I’m not sure where the exact problem lies, because the maximum image I have set in my media settings is 1024×1024 and the file is 720 x 528. I also checked to inspect element, and it shows this:

    alt = “link/filename.png?resize=300%2C157&ss1=1 300w” sizes =”(max-widh:720px) 100vw, 720px” width=”720″ height=”377″ style=”user-select”

    Is the theme automatically resizing my pictures? is there any way out of it? or is it because of wordpress compression?

    Thank you!

    That’s a very theme specific ask. What theme are you using?
