14.4 Completely Slowed Down Website

    I updated to 14.4 yesterday, optimised the site and now my website has ground to a halt. It takes forever to load.

    How do I get my site running back to the way it was before the update?

    We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing a performance issue after updating to the 14.0.4 version of the plugin. Can you please confirm whether the issue is still occurring after updating to version 14.1? You can learn more about updating here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

    If you wish to reset, you can do the following:

      1. Install & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin
      2. Go to Tools -> Yoast Test
      3. Hit the “Reset indexables & migrations” button
      4. Delete your current Yoast SEO installation.
