Plugins not working

    Hello, thanks for taking the time to listen to me…

    Basically I just updated to V2.8.6 and after update and changing the theme NONE of my plugins are working, i have installed FLAgallery, Tubepress and EasyFAQ, i have reinstalled all of them to no success, my site is – http://www.themonsterbox.com/wordpress

    Have you checked whether any of these plugins are compatible with WordPress 2.8?

    yeah they all worked fine with 2.8.6

    Could be. Try switching to the default theme and see if the plugins work. It’s also possible that you’ve hit a conflict with another plugin that was already installed before these three. You may have to try deactivating all plugins then activating the 3 new ones and check everything works. If it does, activate the older plugins one by one – checking thoroughly after each reactivation – until you hit a problem. at that point, you’ve found a conflicting plugin.

    ok thankyou, dont know why a theme would block out plugins though…

    Could it that it includes code that conflicts with these plugins. The greater the functionality in a theme, the greater the chance that it could create a conflict.

    hmm i see, that upsets me slightly as i love the theme but need the plugins
