Contact Form Checkbox

Hello guys,

I hope you are well. I’ve noticed that the checkbox to subscribe people on our contact form doesn’t update Mailchimp.

The checkbox works to alert us when the contact form gets sent, but when I search for the email address in Mailchimp it is not there and I have to add it manually:

If I check the MC4WP Mailchimp settings they appear to be present and correct. The API key is there and the status is “connected”:

Could you please help me work out what I am missing? Thank you for your assistance.

Can you set MailChimp for Wp > Other to “log everything” and see if anything shows up at all there after you test the form again?

Hi Lap,

Sorry for the delay, and thank you for getting back to me. I did that but nothing untoward shows up when I did a dummy run with a madeup email and my own one:

[2020-05-11 15:58:26] WARNING: WPForms > indi******@ya***.co.uk is already subscribed to the selected list(s)
```
I deleted my email from Mailchimp before testing but the log says I’m still in the database. Would you mind perhaps testing from yours and I can send on the log once you’ve submitted from the Contact page?

Hey Michael,

I tested the form using my personal email “me@har……com”. Can you please check the logs and share it?

Hello Harish,

Thank you for that. Your mail has registered in the log:
```
[2020-05-12 08:14:26] INFO: WPForms > Successfully subscribed me@ha***********.com
```
But I don’t see any similar address added in Mailchimp? The last one was added last night (manually).

Hey @michaelmartin73,

Please check your MailChimp list again. Before my email shows up on your list, I had to verify my email by clicking on a link within the email sent to me by MailChimp.com. I just did it.
