    We are currently using the plugin Square Recurring / Simple Payments For WooCommerce Subscriptions. It constantly has issues and we are considering switching subscriptions over to WooCommerce Square, which we already use for non subscription products.

    Is there any way that we can migrate existing subscriptions using the Recurring/Simple payment method, over to the WooCommerce Square payment method without interruption?

    We currently have a large number of active subscriptions, so something manual would only work if it could be done in something like excel or with a database change.

    The official Square plugin for WooCommerce does not support using the Square Recurring Payments inside the Square dashboard. It supports WooCommerce Subscriptions ( https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-subscriptions/ ) to handle recurring billing, as it’s a far more robust solution to handling recurring billing on your site.

    Thanks for the response. We are currently using WooCommerce subscriptions. The issue is that the payment method they are using, is one created by the plugin “Square Recurring / Simple Payments For WooCommerce Subscriptions”.

    That uses information in the fields Square Customer ID and Square Card ID. Your payment method, on the other hand, uses Customer ID and Payment Token. Are those fields compatible such that the information could be switched from one to the other?

    If not, for active subscriptions, is our only solution to let their subscriptions fail and force them to setup new information in your payment method?
