currently, i am afraid not, in every place we are using the icons the plugin expects them to be in a square (width=height) format, otherwise the icons will be distorted in some way.
Can you let me know where are you planning to use these icons? I suppose such big images will not be used in [adverts_categories] shortcode so maybe there will be some workaround possible in this case.
Thanks for the quick reply. The client wants to have custom images for categories e. an old chair for an ‘antiques’ category. Is that doable in any way?
You can use a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-custom-taxonomy-image/ to add custom images to taxonomies or if you are familiar with PHP programming just use the taxonomies API to add a new field which would store a link to the images
