Invalid membership member

    After someone agrees to pay for a membership, the link sent in the email to complete the registration (Registration page URL) opens a tab with the following message: “invalid membership level!”. I can’t seem to edit the page, and therefore find the source of the problem.

    I have also tried recreating the original pages that come with the problem and it also says ‘invalid membership level.’

    I have logged out of other windows and browsers.

    How many membership levels do you have? Can you confirm you have the correct membership level assigned to the member registration page?

    Thanks for answering. We have 15 membership levels, and for the registration page, what I understood is that with paying memberships, Simple Membership uses one registration form for all users (that’s what is said in the documentation). After the payment is made, a unique link is sent. I don’t myself assign a registration page per paying membership, only to the paypal button. The registration page is precisely the one we can’t modify (automatically generated registration page URL).

    Hi, which PayPal payment buttons are you creating? For example: PayPal Subscription or one time PayPal payment?

    Okay, thank you for sharing this information. Can you enable debug mode and carry out a test registration in your site using the standard payment button. Then check the log files and report back with any findings.

    so I just repaid for a membership and try to activate the link, with the same problem.
    Viewing the log files I only see succes.

    The log file says everything went well. So there must be something in your site causing this conflict. Are you using the Form Builder addon? Or any other addon for SMP?
