Yes it does exist in the portuguese version, it is a categorie. i have 2 categories. fortnite and domez. Domez works fine in both languages, fortnite doesnt. the work domes is not translated to portugues and it works in both languages. I tried to do the same with the work fortnite and it doesnt work in any way

As said above currently, the plugin does not search for categories in Non-AJAX mode so it may be working in English version for you because the word may also exist in the post title, content, excerpt, or custom field.
