    Hello,

I’m wondering if it’s possible to have it set so

If product A is $100 for quantity 1

How can I set it so that if more than 2 are ordered, the 1st one is full price and subsequent products are 75% off?

    So order 3 of product A at $100 and it comes to $100 + 3 X $25 = $175 total.

At the moment it applies 75% off all 3 and the total comes to $100 in total as 75% is taken off all 4 items instead of $175

So with this discount level 4 is the same price as buying 1. I need the first of Product A to remain full price and the discount to be applied to the other 3.

    Thanks

    Hello,
I’m sorry that’s not possible. I never heard of that discount before. Can you tell me a bit about the context?

    Sure,

    Here’s the scenario

My client has a WooCommerce product that sells access to a LearnDash digital course.

He’s also using the “LearnDash Group Registration” plugin which turns Quantity into Users.

He might sell his course to an individual, in which case it’s $100

But he might sell to an enterprise that needs 4 user logins which needs to be $100 for the initial license + a per-user fee that’s heavily reduced.

Hence why I need to have the discount at say 75% but not effecting the 1st license.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to solve this with variations as variations aren’t fully supported by the Group Registration plugin.

Hopefully that makes sense. For sites selling licenses or digital products where the value is in quantity 1, but as an upsell, selling extra user logins with 75% off allows us to achieve the pricing model needed.

    Thanks for your time.

It’s also worth noting the Group Registration plugin does nothing to the price other than multiply

If the price is $100 and you choose 4 users it makes the cost $400 which is too high.

With any discount plugins we end up with a price that’s too low unless the discount isn’t applied to the first item.

Oh I see. That’s a tiered pricing. That feature is available only in the pro version. You can read more about tiered pricing here https://www.chargebee.com/resources/glossaries/tiered-pricing-model-strategy/ and how to set it up with the pro version of our plugin here https://discountsuiteforwp.com/tutorials/how-to-set-up-tiered-pricing-in-a-woocommerce-store/
