Create Posts

    Hi, Have set up an “Officer” role and all been so well. Now want to let them create posts so have ticked posts box. However, when the go to work-admin screen “Posts” is not appearing.

    Hi,

    User with ‘edit_posts’ capability should see ‘Posts’ menu at wp-admin.
    If he does not see it, check if some plugin is not a reason. Deactivate all plugins temporally and re-test. If ‘Posts’ menu will appear for test user, then activate plugins back one by one to isolate a problem.

    Hi Vladimir,

    Yes have set up “edit posts” and Create Posts”. Will do as you suggest and let you know how I get on.

    Hi Vladimir,

    Did as you suggested and found it was the WP Custom Interface Plugin.

    I forgot I was using this and it had “Posts” hidden.
