Hi,
Please use the built-in MailChimp API integration. It works much better than the HTML form. You’ll find settings for it under the email tab in the plugin’s settings.
If you have a minute, please leave a review. Itβs what keeps support going. Thank you π https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/minimal-coming-soon-maintenance-mode/reviews/#new-post
I have already put in my Mailchimp API under the email tab in the plugin, I added the HTML afterwards to see if that would make a difference but it doesn’t.
Make sure there are no mandatory fields for the list set up in MailChimp. Like the FNAME which is set up by default.
There are no required fields except for email in Mailchimp > Settings > Audience Fields
Hello, this is still not working, any other suggestions?
Hi, I don’t see the plugin on your site so I can’t check. But if the API key is correct then, in most cases, the issue is with some config option on the MC end.
The plugin is definitely installed, I am using custom HTML to style the landing page. I have checked that there are no required fields under settings > audience fields.
I have regenerated the API key from Mailchimp and have entered this into the Mailchimp API box under the email tab in the plugin. However I don’t see Minimal Coming Soon and Maintenance Mode under account > API keys> authorized applications section in Mailchimp.
I had one new subscriber yesterday, but when I test my own email addresses that aren’t in my subscriber list they do not show up. This is really disappointing because this is a really good plugin, I just wish it would work!
If you’re using custom HTML then it’s a completely different story. You can’t use our API integration because you’re using your own HTML … it never even gets to our code. The same goes for any other setting in our plugin.
In that case, you do need to use the HTML form MC provides. Unfortunately, I don’t have any experience with it so can’t provide any details.
I’ve just checked the form and got the welcome email. So it’s working.
It’s working now!!! Thanks so much. Somehow double opt in is turned on somewhere.
