I’ve searched various forums but haven’t found a workable solution.

The country dropdown, and state dropdown if in US, does nothing when clicked – doesn’t produce a dropdown list. You will need to add an item to basket to recreate the issue.

My research seems to suggest a CSS or JS problem?

I have disabled plugins one by one but not had any luck. Would really appreciate any help.

    Thanks

@waterhaul Issues like this are most often caused by conflicts. You mentioned disabling plugins one by one, however, here’s the correct way to run a full conflict test:

    1. Switch the theme of your website to the free Storefront theme. Test for the issue – if the issue is solved, then your theme is the one causing the problem. If the issue isn’t resolved, move on to the next steps.

    2. Deactivate all the plugins except for WooCommerce and check if the issue persists. This step is very important. WooCommerce has to be the only plugin that is enabled, without any additional ones being active. If the problem is resolved under this setup then please move on to the next step.

    3. Activate features one by one while testing for the issue, until you find the one that is causing this behavior. When the issue happens again, you’ll know the last activated plugin is the one causing the problem.

I recommend that these steps are taken on a staging site, which is a clone of your live site that you can modify without risking making any permanent damage to your live site. You can create it using a plugin like WP-Staging. This plugin lets you copy and redeploy a WordPress site with minimal work.

    Hey @waterhaul

Taking a quick look at your site, I’d recommend trying with this plugin deactivated – checkout-address-autocomplete-for-woocommerce

If that doesn’t work, then switch temporarily to our Storefront theme. You’re right though, normally this is related to CSS or JS.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
