    Hi there,

I would like to change the background of an individual menu item, “request a call back” in this case, I have given that menu item its own CSS class of “custom12”, but the css does not take affect and looking at the code i can see “mega-custom12” so mega menu is interfering somewhere along the line, could anyone help please, I thought this would be a simple CSS change but it looks to not be taking effect.

    Thanks in advance 🙂

    Hi Sam,

Thanks for posting a link. The class is here:

    https://screencast.com/t/gOHSLXJZu

(note it is applied to the list item, not the anchor)

You’ll then need to make sure your CSS selector is as specific, or more specific, than the default styles, for it to take effect.

We have this functionality built into Pro: https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/item-styling/ , which will essentially write the correct CSS for you (and give you a nice interface to control it).

    Regards,
    Tom
