    Hi,

Just wanna understand this. My domain is registered at Godaddy, wheras my WordPress is hosted by Bluehost.

I can read everywhere that you can point your domain name to Bluehost simply by changing the domain Name Servers at Godaddy to ns1.bluehost.com and ns2.bluehost.com. That is not very specific.

But is that all? That would mean that all Domain Names registered at Bluehost have to be unique, and Bluehost is making a match for every incoming domain name. What about DNS Records making an A-point to the correct IP-adress at Bluehost. Before using Godaddy, I had to make an A point to correct IP-adress av Bluehost.
Now, with Godaddy, I am unsure what to do.

    /G

No, it means that bluehost as set DNS records up for you on their name servers. You could also leave the name servers at GD and change the A record, as you noted. The trick is whether you’re also using one of the hosts for mail, because then you have to deal with MX records, a TXT record for SPF, and possibly another TXT record for DKIM.

    Either way will work.
