• Hello,

I am using the latest versions of WordPress and Simple WordPress Membership Plugin. I am trying to use SWMP with an activity logging plugin. I have tried “Stream”, “WP Security Audit Log” and “Activity Log”.

When using the front end log in / registration pages of Simple WordPress membership Plugin, most things record successfully in the logging plugins, with 1 big exception.

If a user tries to log in on the front end and it fails (either because the username does not exist or the user provided a bad password) the logging plugins do not track this activity. This activity is however tracked if the user does it from the backend login page at wp-admin. This makes me believe there is some variable that is not being passed from the front end. Is there a way to fix this?

    Hi,

Let me see if I understand your issue. You would like to register in the logs people trying to log into the front end with fail attempts. Is this correct?

    Hi,

Thank you for the reply! Yes, that is exactly correct. I can provide screenshots of how it works on the backend login page if that helps.

Hi, unfortunately we currently don’t have any integration addon with any of the log plugins you mentioned above.

    Kind regards

    Hi,

Thank you again for the reply. I do not specifically need an integration addon. My question is specifically how can I make the front end login page trigger the variables that the standard back end login page already does? For whatever reason, the Simple Membership Plugin does not use all of the standard variables that the backend uses. If Simple membership plugin uses the standard variables, all of the other plugins will work with it without any special integration needed.
