• We have this plugin installed and everything is excellent. There is one glitch with the next iqamah timing as on GoDaddy wordpress hosting, the plugin data is not getting refreshed on every pull (probably due to caching). Due to that the next iqamah time and the hours remaining and date become stale.

Is there a way that the plugin can refresh the data by polling instead of relying on the cached data? E.g. the way it does for scores on sporting sites. That way it can override any page level restrictions that any hosting site has put.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Or can there be an option to have the plugin check the local device time for this instead of relying on the push from the server which is cached and inaccurate?

    Assalamualaikum Akhi,

Are you talking about the web timing or on the digital screen.

Can you send me some example screenshots.

Can you disable performance cache if that is causing the problem.

    wkas,

This is for the top area where it says next iqamah time details.

E.g. the display is like this

    April 26, 2020
    3 Ramadan 1441
    ZUHR IQAMAH
    2:00 PM
    37:52 PM

Now, this is not reflected correctly and sometimes you may see even at maghrib time that the display is like this. It kind of gets stuck at this until GoDaddy refreshes the cache based on their schedule. Since the plugin is checking the latest pull from server and the page is cached, it does not change unless GoDaddy hosting site refreshes the cache. But that is just a reset and the page will be currect at that moment and then again becomes stale.

An option that I am suggesting is that in settings if there is an option to enable local device time check for displaying the next iqamah time instead of the server. Then the plugin script pulls the data from the local machine and it will then remain current.

I am unable to attach screebshots, hence typing everything. This is on mcws.org site but I have hidden the Next Iqamah time setting since it was confusing people.
