Hello @arfufu,
Let’s check if it is an existing conflict before anything else:
– Temporarily deactivate all your plugins except NextGen Gallery.
– Is the problem solved? Then, it was caused by one of your plugins. Please check one by one and find the one causing the problem.
– If the problem is not solved with the deactivation of the plugins, try changing to a standard WordPress theme, it could be a conflict with your current theme.
Please, let us know if that worked for you.
We are happy to help!

Hello @gabyimagely,
Thank you for your reply. I must admit I was lazzy and wanted to ask here before in case this issue was known, but I did the job and now it can serve the community:
Plugin Organizer is guilty!
To prevent the gallery scripts from loading on every page, I setup this plugin to make NextGen unactive on all the website, and activated it page by page when needed (I use it on 2 pages overs 150). This way everything was working just fine except this feature= import from server folders. Very strange…
So now I’m trying to figure out how to configurate it differently to acheive the same goal: load nextgen scripts only on my 2 pages using galleries… If you have an idea? 😀 I will investigate a bit more and mark as resolve later if I/we find a way.
P.S: I made a little mistake in my first message; it’s not below but above that should appear the list of folders.
thank you!
Hi @arfufu,
First of all, we need to mention that the “Gallery -> Add Gallery / Images” option is available for desktop and laptop devices only and it wouldn’t show up on mobile or tablet devices.
Secondly, there is a requirement to allow NextGen’s scripts to be executed on the domain’s Home URL for the upload feature to correctly work
