Entire website disappeared!
-
Hello, I purchased a domain (mydomain.co) and was using WP to build a website. I could only access it from mydomain.co, and I wanted to also access it by using http://www.mydomain.co.
I read online (first mistake?) that I should simply go to my wp-admin page, then Settings/General, and add “www” to the URL in both boxes near the top. (I now forget exactly what they said but one was WP-related and the other was general.)
Now, nothing works! I can’t even access the wp-admin site. I think it’s because now the browser is looking for http://www.mydomain.co/wp-admin, which is a site that doesn’t exist! So I can’t even go back to delete the “www.” As soon as I added “www”, the page updated, and gave me a 404 error. I tried to go back to remove www, but since it was now looking for a nonexistent page that didn’t work. I can’t access my site through bluehost (because BH just send me to WP, which is where I built the site).
Any ideas?? Thanks!
