I use the admin bar to monitor pages and posts to maintain amp compliant content. The toolbar was automatically removed due to excess CSS when I was experimenting with some new features.

If I remove or disable the AMP plugin it returns. I need to figure out how to re-enable what AMP removed.

Are you using Jetpack v8.4? There is a known issue with it removing the admin bar: https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/15353

@westonruter Thank you I was not aware of the JetPack issue. I appreciate the workaround link.

Somedays I am just tired of plugins.

Jetpack v8.4.2 is now available which fixes this issue. Please update and uninstall my workaround plugin.
