I have just checked the tag myself, and it worked just fine. Would you kindly provide more details?
Do you have the editors entered for your particular publication? You can check it by clicking “Modify” button next to the publication in “Manage Works” page.
Do other elements show up as supposed?
Which shortcode do you use on your page?

Everything else shows just fine. I have editors added to some books, and all of the books are public, but for some reason just the editors information doesn’t show.
In the custum publication list i’m using what I mentioned earlier and this is the structure i’m suing for the publication list: [publications auth=all subj=all prep=all]
Here is an example of how one of the publications appear, and you can see how, in the place where the editors should show, just two comas appear (before the number of pages):

Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to replicate your problem.
Can you also provide the editor names associated with the publication? Perhaps there’s some issue with it, like some conflicting unicode character.
In one book I have, for example, the following names:
Álvarez Jurado, M.
Carlos López, I.
I also tried different options to see if they would work, but still did not:
Álvarez Jurado / Álbarez / Albarez
Carlos López / I. Carlos / Carlos

Thank you for cooperation, I have found the issue:
the editors entered directly on “Manage Works” page won’t show up for some reason.
So, a temporal solution for you would be adding your editors on “Add Author” page and then selecting them in publication editor on “Manage Works” page.
Meanwhile, I’ll try to fix it during the next few days.
