Thanks @hamchimpeng we have received your mail and will have a look now and try to reproduce it. Sorry it took a while because of the long easter weekend.

I’ve installed the same plugins and things worked fine for me. So it might not be plugin related but maybe rather server related.

I noticed this in the system report:

    > Warning archive_errors: 2020-04-09 09:12:34 (‘Got invalid response from API request: ?module=API&method=API.get&idSite=1&period=day&date=last7&format=php&trigger=archivephp. The response was empty. This usually means a server error. A solution to this error is generally to increase the value of \’memory_limit\’ in your php.ini file. For more information and the error message please check in your PHP CLI error log file. As this core:archive command triggers PHP processes over the CLI, you can find where PHP CLI logs are stored by running this command: php -i | grep error_log’ ‘Empty or invalid response \’\’ for website id 1, Time elapsed: 16.999s, skipping’ ‘2 total errors during this script execution, please investigate and try and fix these errors

@hamchimpeng not sure how technical you are. Do you maybe know where to find a PHP error log if that’s possible with your hoster? Or maybe it helps to [enable WP_DEBUG](https://matomo.org/faq/wordpress/i-have-a-problem-how-do-i-troubleshoot-and-enable-wp_debug/) to get more information?

It says in the text a solution could be to increase memory but usually 256MB is enough in most cases unless you maybe have a lot of traffic or for example many different page URLs.

Do you know if this used to work? I mean up to 4 days ago, could you see data in your reports when you go eg to “Matomo -> Summary” in the WP Admin dashboard?

@hamchimpeng have you maybe had a chance to look at my last comment?

@tsteur sorry for the late reply, yes I have turn on debug for a week and no matomo error is recorded except adding of tracking code etc. We are in the midst of migrating to another hosting so I will get back to you if there is still any more error after the migration.
