Wordfence Assistant Do nothing

    I’m recently migrated servers. I had a previus wordfence install that worked just fine. But now in the new server it keeps telling me to “complete configuration” and all options just seem to do nothing. Tried installing the Wordfence Assistant so I could reinstall everything but it don’t seem to be doing anything either. I have no load, no nothing, I click tghe buttons and just nothing happens. Hope anyone can help me.

    Hi @semnosao,

    Can you try these steps?

    1. On the new server, delete the folder wp-content/plugins/wordfence.
    2. Reinstall Wordfence within WordPress -> plugins -> Add
    3. Change your settings via Wordfence -> All Options

    It’s not recommended to just copy / paste the Wordfence plugin folder (which is the case, if you’re migrating servers). You’ll want to do a clean install.

    Right, sorry, I forgot to state that I have done that. I have reinstalled all my plugins. And I didn’t have Wordfence Assistant in my prior host I’m just trying to make it work so I get rid of any reminiscent of wordfance (maybe the datdabase tables) that maybe are the problem but it’s not working either.
