Display single product variant

Hello,

My products (pants) have a lot of variants (size, color, fit etc.) resulting in 900+ references (SKUs).
Right now the shop page only diplay the parent produyct.
I’d like to display some of them in my shop page (for example 4 products with just colors Navy, Camel, etc.)
For that I was thinking about “dummy variants” product with just the color selected and “any size”, “any fit” etc.
But I can’t find a way to display it in a page.
Displaying the product by SKU with the short code [product sku=”NAVY”] for example only works with parent products but not variant product!

If you have a way with this I’ll be glad to hear
